Integrity with Our Word

by Ray Reuter on March 17, 2010

The word integrity comes from the Latin “integer.”  An integer is a WHOLE number – no fractions, no percentages.   Integrity with our word means our word is WHOLE and COMPLETE.  It implies we act out our word 100% of the time.

Now pause and think about your self-talk.  What do you say about yourself?  How do you judge yourself?  I am what I believe I am.  You are what you believe you are.  What are you saying to yourself about your business, your product, your clients / customers, your relationships, your children, your world, your life?  I want to be and act in integrity—yet often my self-talk does not serve me and causes tension within myself.  Instead of being WHOLE, there is a HOLE.  The good news is that I can change that with my word.

When I am comfortable with who I am, I can stop being uncomfortable with who I am not.

I really love your wteisbe.. Very nice colors & theme. Did you make this site yourself? Please reply back as I’m trying to create my very own site and would like to find out where you got this from or exactly what the theme is called. Kudos!

D**^e has nothing on you. I find her to be dull, dull, and, oh yes — dull. And as for her 19K followers — you know there's got to be a lot of riff-raff in the bunch. I'll take quality over quantity any day. You're one of a kind, Ms Quirk and we love you for it. Now I'm going to grab your button and put it on my blog so everyone who visits knows the outstanding company I keep!

Nice images Paul. As usual mine didn’t upload properly. One is cut off and one is missing completely.Does anyone else have trouble posting images? I don’t have any trouble on other forums.

I know, right?! The first time someone pointed this out to me I was like 'omfg, how much of this did they plan?!' This is not the only example of super-clever foreshadowing, but the other one is still a spoiler so it'll have to wait.

I take as my guide the hope of a saint in crucial things, unity – in important things, diversity – in all things, generosity.
