Frequently Asked Questions: Coaching

What is coaching?
Coaching is a powerful one-on-one relationship that will engage you in a deep and honest exploration of your personal and professional goals and the actions required to accomplish them. Coaching supports, challenges and holds you accountable to make consistent, incremental and yet often dramatic progress towards the realization of your most important aspirations.

How do I know if I might be a good candidate for personal or business coaching?
There are several great ways to do this:

  • Review the overall barriers that are keeping you from what you want in your life
  • Check out the issues in your workplace or professional career that could be holding you back
  • Download this checklist on common issues that coaching can help you address
  • Schedule a free consultation with Kaizen by emailing Info@UnfetteredPotential.com or calling (913) 851-2430

Who gets the most from coaching?
The clients that benefit most from the discipline of coaching are small business owners, entrepreneurs, executives, consultants and advisors— successful people who are committed to achieving the high level of success they know they deserve.

What can you accomplish through coaching?
When someone has a fairly clear idea of the desired outcome, a coaching partnership can be a useful tool for developing a strategy for how to achieve that outcome with greater ease. Since coaching is a partnership, also ask yourself if you find it valuable to collaborate, to have another viewpoint and to be asked to consider new perspectives. Are you ready to devote the time and the energy to making real changes in your work or life? If the answer to these questions is a resounding “Yes!” then coaching may be a beneficial way for you to grow and develop.

  • Accountability … We will press you to be clear about your actions and next steps, and then hold you accountable to following through. The intent is not to “manage” you … the intent is to help you learn and grow from your experience and actions. The value of accountability is supporting you in doing the things you want to do, that you may not do on your own, and to do them faster.
