See the bunny? See the bunny with long legs sleeping?
Yes, that picture to Henry is absolutely, positively a bunny sleeping — be careful not to wake him up!
Is there anything so beautiful as the imagination of a small child? They see things and fully believe what they imagine. And they are not hindered by others — their beliefs are strong and they splash around in their imaginative play, not caring what others think. I love that. It gives me a reason to play along and imagine too.
As adults, I think we all could use a bit more imagination and play in our life — imagining what is possible, not simply what is probable. Imagining to the degree that we don’t care what other people think. Using our imagination to be the unhindered, unfettered person God made us to be.
Close your eyes … Imagine … Believe … Dream … Envision … Play …
“I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.”
— Robert Fulghum, All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten
