This is my doing. (1 Kings 12:24) Recently I have embraced this four word message to remind myself that God is in charge. What concerns me concerns God too.
“This is my doing.” I am the God of circumstances. You did not come to this place by accident — you are exactly where I meant for you to be. Your circumstances and the people around you are only being used to accomplish My will.
God invites us to anoint every new circumstance, every situation that confounds and angers us, every word that hurts us, every moment that triggers sadness or fear or shame, every interruption that makes us impatient, every thing that doesn’t go according to our plan, and every weakness we have. The pain will leave as we learn to see God in all things.
